Cheesy Garlic Kielbasa Pasta Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 3/4 cups chicken stock
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- Salt, to taste
- 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
- Parsley flakes, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and sauté until they start to brown.
- Add minced garlic to the pan and continue to sauté for another minute until the garlic becomes fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken stock and bring the mixture to a simmer. Allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted, and the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to boil, add salt, and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Once the sauce has thickened, and the noodles are done, drain the noodles and add them to the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the cheesy garlic sauce.
- Garnish the dish with parsley flakes for a pop of color and freshness.
