Chili cheese dog casserole
1 package of hot dogs
1 can of biscuits (tater tots are a good alternative)
2 cups of cheese
2 cans of chili
Preheat oven to 375. Open can of biscuits and quarter them. Slice hot dogs. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well (leave out 1/2 cup of cheese). Spray a 9×13 pan and pour mixture into pan. Cook for 25 minutes. Add remaining cheese and cook for 5 more minutes. Enjoy
Cheesy Chili Dog Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 package of hot dogs
- 1 can of biscuits (or tater tots as an alternative)
- 2 cups of shredded cheese
- 2 cans of chili
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Quarter the biscuits (or prepare tater tots).
- Slice the hot dogs into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the quartered biscuits, sliced hot dogs, 1.5 cups of shredded cheese, and both cans of chili. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of ingredients.
- Prepare Casserole:
- Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Pour the mixed ingredients into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake:
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the biscuits (or tater tots) are golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
- Add Cheese:
- Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Finish Baking:
- Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly.
