Chili cheese dog casserole
1 package of hot dogs
1 can of biscuits (tater tots are a good alternative)
2 cups of cheese
2 cans of chili
Preheat oven to 375. Open can of biscuits and quarter them. Slice hot dogs. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well (leave out 1/2 cup of cheese). Spray a 9×13 pan and pour mixture into pan. Cook for 25 minutes. Add remaining cheese and cook for 5 more minutes. Enjoy

Cheesy Chili Dog Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of hot dogs
  • 1 can of biscuits (or tater tots as an alternative)
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese
  • 2 cans of chili

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Quarter the biscuits (or prepare tater tots).
    • Slice the hot dogs into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Mix Ingredients:
    • In a large bowl, combine the quartered biscuits, sliced hot dogs, 1.5 cups of shredded cheese, and both cans of chili. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of ingredients.
  4. Prepare Casserole:
    • Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
    • Pour the mixed ingredients into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake:
    • Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the biscuits (or tater tots) are golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  6. Add Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Finish Baking:
    • Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly.
