Here’s a fast, easy, yummy beef and noodle dish… for right around $10!
1 lb ground beef
4 oz cream cheese
Can of diced tomatoes (rotel if you like some heat)
Seasonings (garlic and onion powder… you could also do cayenne, paprika, or red pepper flakes if you like heat)
Around 2 cups of shredded cheese (I used Italian blend and cheddar because I had partial bags of each)
1.Heat oven to 400° and grease 9×13 casserole
2. Cook penne according to directions, then drain
3. While that’s going on, brown your burger, drain fat, lower temp, add seasonings, tomatoes, cream cheese, and about half your shredded cheese. Stir to combine over low heat.
4. Combine your meat mixture with your pasta in your casserole dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake until brown and bubbly (maybe 5-10 min?)
Cost did not factor in seasonings but was based on WM in PA. $10.07. Meal was ready in approx 45 min total
