Flatten out grand biscuits, put 1-2 Tbsp of cooked ground in center, put shredded cheese and onion then wrap dough around it. Place on cookie sheet crease side down. Bake at 350 degrees til golden. Usually 15-25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (8 pieces) grand biscuits
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite melty cheese)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • Optional: your favorite burger toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Flatten the Biscuits: Flatten out each grand biscuit on a clean surface. Use a rolling pin if necessary to make the biscuits a bit larger and thinner.
  4. Assemble the Burger Bombs: Place 1-2 tablespoons of the cooked ground beef mixture onto the center of each flattened biscuit. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheese over the beef.
  5. Wrap and Seal: Carefully pull up the edges of the biscuit dough and wrap them around the filling, forming a ball. Pinch the edges to seal the dough completely, ensuring no filling is exposed. Place each sealed side down on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake: Bake the burger bombs in the preheated oven for 15-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. The exact baking time might vary, so keep an eye on them to avoid overcooking.
