Burger and Beans Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
- Mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles, for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened.
- Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until well combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the drained green beans evenly across the bottom.
- Pour the beef and mushroom soup mixture over the green beans, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and heated through.
- Serve the “Burger and Beans Casserole” hot over mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles.
