Burger and Beans Casserole


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
  • Mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles, for serving


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened.
  4. Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until well combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the drained green beans evenly across the bottom.
  7. Pour the beef and mushroom soup mixture over the green beans, spreading it out evenly.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and heated through.
  9. Serve the “Burger and Beans Casserole” hot over mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles.
