Ice Cream Cake

M&M’s Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 boxes of ice cream sandwiches (12 sandwiches per box)
  • 1 large container of Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce
  • 1 cup M&M’s (you can choose a mix of colors or stick to one color for a theme)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base:
    • Lay out one layer of ice cream sandwiches in a rectangular or square baking dish, making sure to cover the entire bottom.
  2. Spread Cool Whip:
    • Spread a generous layer of Cool Whip evenly over the first layer of ice cream sandwiches.
  3. Drizzle Caramel and Chocolate Sauce:
    • Drizzle half of the caramel sauce and half of the chocolate sauce over the Cool Whip layer.
  4. Sprinkle M&M’s:
    • Sprinkle half of the M&M’s over the sauces, ensuring even distribution.
  5. Repeat Layers:
    • Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches on top of the M&M’s, creating a second layer.
  6. Repeat Toppings:
    • Repeat the process by spreading another layer of Cool Whip, followed by drizzling the remaining caramel and chocolate sauces, and finally sprinkling the rest of the M&M’s.
  7. Final Touch:
    • Optionally, you can add extra M&M’s on top for a decorative touch.
  8. Freeze:
    • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight, until the ice cream cake is firm.
  9. Serve:
    • Remove from the freezer a few minutes before serving to make it easier to cut. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
