Pizza Egg Rolls

Pizza Egg Rolls Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Chopped bacon
  • Green bell pepper, diced
  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • String cheese sticks
  • Garlic & herb butter (melted)
  • Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Romano cheese, grated
  • Pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • Lay out the egg roll wrappers on a clean surface.
    • Place a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each wrapper.
    • Sprinkle chopped bacon, diced green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms over the pepperoni.
    • Lay a string cheese stick on top.
  2. Roll Up the Egg Rolls:
    • Fold the sides of the egg roll wrapper over the filling.
    • Roll from the bottom to the top, sealing the edge with a little water to secure the roll.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Air Fry the Pizza Egg Rolls:
    • Place the prepared pizza egg rolls in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
    • Cook for approximately 4 minutes or until the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Brush with Garlic & Herb Butter:
    • While the egg rolls are cooking, mix melted garlic & herb butter in a bowl.
    • Once the egg rolls are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and brush each roll with the garlic & herb butter.
  6. Sprinkle with Cheese:
    • Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan and Romano cheese over the buttered egg rolls.
  7. Serve with Pizza Sauce:
    • Plate the pizza egg rolls and serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.
