Pizza Egg Rolls Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Egg roll wrappers
- Pepperoni slices
- Chopped bacon
- Green bell pepper, diced
- Mushrooms, sliced
- String cheese sticks
- Garlic & herb butter (melted)
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- Romano cheese, grated
- Pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- Prepare the Filling:
- Lay out the egg roll wrappers on a clean surface.
- Place a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each wrapper.
- Sprinkle chopped bacon, diced green bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms over the pepperoni.
- Lay a string cheese stick on top.
- Roll Up the Egg Rolls:
- Fold the sides of the egg roll wrapper over the filling.
- Roll from the bottom to the top, sealing the edge with a little water to secure the roll.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Air Fry the Pizza Egg Rolls:
- Place the prepared pizza egg rolls in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
- Cook for approximately 4 minutes or until the egg rolls are golden brown and crispy.
- Brush with Garlic & Herb Butter:
- While the egg rolls are cooking, mix melted garlic & herb butter in a bowl.
- Once the egg rolls are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and brush each roll with the garlic & herb butter.
- Sprinkle with Cheese:
- Sprinkle a generous amount of Parmesan and Romano cheese over the buttered egg rolls.
- Serve with Pizza Sauce:
- Plate the pizza egg rolls and serve with a side of pizza sauce for dipping.
