I usually just fix these for lunch by themselves but you could add whatever sides you like and serve them for dinner.

1/2 cup water (or 3/4 if you want it soupy)
Tear biscuits in 3 or 4 pieces and roll them into a ball
Cook on medium heat for about 12-15 minutes
Creamy Chicken Dumpling Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup water (adjust to 3/4 cup if a soupier consistency is desired)
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (about 8 biscuits)
- Optional: Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Dumpling Mixture:
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup and water. Stir well to create a smooth base for your dumplings.
- Prepare the Biscuit Dumplings:
- Open the tube of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
- Tear each biscuit into 3 or 4 pieces and roll them into small balls. This will form your dumplings.
- Add Dumplings to the Pot:
- Gently drop the biscuit dumplings into the simmering soup mixture. Make sure to distribute them evenly.
- Cooking Time:
- Cover the saucepan and let the dumplings cook on medium heat for about 12-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Check for Doneness:
- After 12-15 minutes, check the dumplings for doneness. They should be cooked through and have a soft, fluffy texture.
- Season to Taste:
- Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. This step is optional and depends on your personal preference.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Ladle the creamy chicken dumplings into bowls. You can enjoy them on their own for a quick lunch, or pair them with your favorite side dishes for a heartier dinner.
