๐Ÿ‘‰ Shakera

From Shakera
I’ve never heard one thing called so many different names…ย ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜†ย So… What do you call this?
Butter both sides of the bread. I use either a cookie cutter or a small glass to make a hole in the middle, heat the pan up and put the bread in the pan then crack the egg in the middle of the bread… Cook until the bread gets crispy then flip, cook however you like your egg done.๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿณย some people add cheese on top ect. I like mine with a little Syrup

Shakera’s Crispy Egg-in-a-Hole Delight

Sliced bread (white or whole wheat)
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Cheese of your choice (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite type)
Syrup for serving

Prepare the Bread:

Butter both sides of each slice of bread.
Use a cookie cutter or a small glass to cut a hole in the center of each slice.
Heat the Pan:

Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and let it warm up.
Cook the Bread:

Once the pan is hot, place the buttered and cut bread slices in the pan.
Allow the bread to cook until the edges become crispy.
Crack the Egg:

Crack an egg into the hole in the center of each bread slice.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook Until Crispy:

Cook until the bottom of the bread is golden brown and the egg whites are set. This may take a few minutes.
Optional Cheese:

If you’d like, sprinkle your favorite cheese on top of the eggs.
Cover the pan with a lid for a minute to allow the cheese to melt.
Flip and Cook:

Carefully flip each bread slice with the egg.
Cook on the other side until the bread is crispy and the egg is cooked to your liking.

Remove the egg-in-a-hole delights from the pan and place them on a plate.
Drizzle with a little syrup for a touch of sweetness.

Serve hot and enjoy your delicious and crispy egg-in-a-hole delights with your preferred toppings and sides.
