Shrimp and lump crab in a creamy homemade cajun Alfredo sauce over pasta
For the alfredo sauce, I chop and saute red and green bell peppers, half of an onion, 1 celery rib in a little butter, 1 TBSP of Cajun seasoning and 3 cloves of chopped garlic, and sauteed vegetables, and 3 tablespoons of flour. Stir until the garlic softens, Next, add 1 cup of pasta water, 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 cups of fresh grated parmesan shredded cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder to your taste. Stir well, once the cheese is combined and creamy turn down to low heat. now I cook my cajun-seasoned shrimp in butter until pink.
