Candy Corn Pizza

Halloween themed dinner #9
Candy corn pizza with salad and q-tips for dessert.
The pizza is just a cheese pizza . No carrots or candy corn lolย ๐Ÿ˜‚ย itโ€™s mozzarella cheese with a tiny bit of orange and yellow gel food dye.
The q-tips are pretzels with mini marshmallows on the end dipped in white chocolate . When dried dip them in caramelโ€ฆ

Candy Corn Pizza:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made cheese pizza crust
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Orange and yellow gel food dye
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza crust package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella cheese with a tiny amount of orange and yellow gel food dye until you achieve the desired candy corn colors. Be cautious with the food dye; a little goes a long way.
  3. Spread the colored cheese evenly over the pizza crust, leaving a border around the edges for the crust.
  4. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, following the package instructions for the crust.
  5. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
  6. While the pizza is baking, prepare the salad.

Halloween Salad:

Ingredients:

  • Mixed greens (spinach, arugula, and lettuce)
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Cucumber, sliced
  • Black olives, sliced
  • Balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and black olives.
  2. Drizzle the salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing and toss gently to combine.
  3. Serve the salad alongside the candy corn pizza slices.

Q-Tip Dessert:

Ingredients:

  • Pretzel sticks
  • Mini marshmallows
  • White chocolate, melted
  • Caramel sauce, for dipping

Instructions:

  1. Insert a mini marshmallow into one end of each pretzel stick to resemble a cotton swab.
  2. Dip the marshmallow-tipped end of the pretzel sticks into melted white chocolate, coating them evenly. Place them on a parchment-lined tray to dry.
  3. Once the white chocolate is set, dip the other end of the pretzel sticks (without the marshmallow) into caramel sauce.
  4. Place the caramel-dipped Q-tips back onto the parchment paper and allow them to dry completely.
  5. Arrange the Q-tips on a serving platter for dessert.
