Broccoli cheddar chicken


Broccoli cheddar chicken:
– 5 boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
– 1 bag of frozen broccoli, cooked according to package directions
– 1 can of cream of chicken soup
– half cup of milk
– 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
– 1 cup French fried onions
– seasonings: seasoned salt, regular table salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, paprika
– pre heat oven to 350. In a greased Pyrex casserole dish, add the chicken that you’ve seasoned on both sides with seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning
– in a large mixing bowl, add the microwaved broccoli, cream of chicken, milk, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the French fried onions and mix.
– add the broccoli mixture on top of the chicken and spread it into an even layer. Top with remaining cheese and fried onions.
– bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is done and cheese is melted
I just made this up tonight and it was really good, I was inspired by a similar dish they serve at Cracker Barre
