****THESE ARE ADDICTIVE****
1 box of saltine crackers OR I prefer 1 box of the minis.. 👍
1 CUP of vegetable oil..
2 TBSP of crushed red pepper flakes..
1-2 TSP of garlic salt (I used garlic salt course ground with parsley)..
1 package of dry Ranch Dressing Mix..
Put all ingredients together in a bowl, (except crackers).. MIX WELL.. 🙌
Put crackers in a bag, pour the mixture over the crackers and seal bag tightly!!
Turn the bag every which way but loose, to mix it all together.. for a while.. lol 🤣***You can bake them …your choice 350 5-10 minutes***
~~I probably used more of the pepper and garlic than it calls for..~

SPICY RANCH CRACKER DELIGHT

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of saltine crackers or 1 box of mini saltine crackers
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1-2 teaspoons of garlic salt (course ground with parsley)
  • 1 package of dry Ranch Dressing Mix

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F if you choose to bake the crackers.
  2. Mix the Spicy Ranch Coating:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic salt, and dry Ranch Dressing Mix.
    • Stir the ingredients well, ensuring they are thoroughly combined.
  3. Prepare the Crackers:
    • Place the saltine crackers (or mini saltine crackers) in a large sealable plastic bag.
  4. Coating Process:
    • Pour the prepared spicy ranch mixture over the crackers in the bag.
  5. Seal and Mix:
    • Seal the bag tightly, removing excess air.
    • Turn the bag upside down, shake it, and rotate it to ensure the coating evenly covers all the crackers. Do this for a few minutes until the crackers are well-coated.
  6. Baking Option (Optional):
    • If you prefer baked crackers, spread the coated crackers on a baking sheet.
    • Bake in the preheated oven at 350°F for 5-10 minutes until the crackers are crisp and the coating is set. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  7. Cool and Enjoy:
    • Allow the crackers to cool before serving.
    • Store in an airtight container once cooled, if there are any left!

Note: Feel free to adjust the quantity of crushed red pepper flakes and garlic salt according to your spice preference. Experiment with the flavors to create your perfect addictive snack
