Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls

Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • Egg roll wraps
  • Provolone sliced cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A1 sauce (optional)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef along with the diced green pepper and onion until the beef is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Season the beef mixture with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, add a splash of A1 sauce for extra flavor. Stir well to combine.
  3. Lay out the egg roll wraps on a clean, dry surface.
  4. Place half a slice of provolone cheese onto each egg roll wrap.
  5. Spoon a portion of the ground beef mixture onto the center of each wrap, directly over the cheese.
  6. To wrap the egg rolls, fold in the sides of the wrap first, then fold in the top and bottom, creating a tight seal.
  7. In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Carefully place the wrapped egg rolls into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until they are golden brown and crispy, usually about 3-4 minutes. Make sure to stay close and monitor them, as they cook quickly.
  9. Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove the egg rolls from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  10. Serve the Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls hot, either on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce.
