This came together in about 10 min. Made 3-4 servings
3 better with cheddar sausages sliced
2 packs ready rice
12 oz bag of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots
Oil, seasonings
Prepare rice (2.5 min in microwave)
season the broccoli with your favorite blend, I used Kinders Red Pepper
In a large pan sautee the broccoli and sliced sausage in some oil until the brocoli turns a bright vibrant green.
Mix in rice and stir to combine, once mixed well remove from heat.
I seperated the broccoli from the carrots and cauliflower and steamed them as a side only because my Son asked for that, but would be just as tasty in the main dish.
This dish would also be really good with a cup or two of shredded cheese.

Cheesy Sausage and Veggie Skillet

  • 3 cheddar sausages, sliced
  • 2 packs ready rice
  • 12 oz bag of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (mixed)
  • Oil for sautéing
  • Kinders Red Pepper seasoning (or your favorite blend)

  • Optional: 1-2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your preferred type)

    • Cook the ready rice according to package instructions. This usually takes about 2.5 minutes in the microwave.

    • While the rice is cooking, season the broccoli with your favorite blend, such as Kinders Red Pepper. Set aside.
  3. Sauté Sausage and Broccoli:
    • In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat.
    • Add the sliced sausages and sauté until they start to brown.
    • Add the seasoned broccoli to the pan and continue sautéing until the broccoli turns a bright vibrant green.

    • Mix in the cooked rice, stirring to combine all ingredients evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Once mixed well, remove the skillet from heat.
