  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Hash Browns: In a large bowl, combine the frozen shredded hash browns, cooked and drained ground turkey, and taco seasoning. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasoning.
  3. Add the Cheese Soup: Pour the cheddar cheese soup over the hash brown and turkey mixture. Add sour cream and mix everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole, creating an even layer of cheese.
  6. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
  7. Garnish (Optional): Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  8. Serve: Scoop out servings of the cheesy turkey hash brown casserole onto plates or bowls. Enjoy your delicious and comforting meal!
