Pizza Pasta Bake Recipe


  • 1 lb Italian sausage, browned and drained
  • 1 large jar of pizza sauce
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Oregano, to taste
  • 1 lb pasta noodles, cooked according to package instructions
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Garlic bread (for serving)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat. Once cooked, drain any excess grease.
  3. Add the entire jar of pizza sauce to the browned sausage, stirring to combine. Season the mixture with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and oregano to taste. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the pasta noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles.
  5. Combine the cooked noodles with the meat and sauce mixture, ensuring an even distribution.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta and meat mixture evenly.
  7. Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pasta mixture.
  8. Add another layer of the remaining pasta mixture over the cheese.
  9. Top the second layer with another layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese layer to your liking.
  11. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  13. Serve the Pizza Pasta Bake with your favorite garlic bread on the side.
