my family love

I found a recipe me and my family love.
1. I whisked the onion soup mix, cream of chicken, chicken broth and pork gravy packet together in my crockpot.
2. I seasoned both sides of each pork chop with garlic powder and placed them in the crockpot making sure they were all covered with the gravy mixture.
3. I cooked on high for 4 hours, then mixed three tablespoons cornstarch and three tablespoons water and poured it into the crockpot.(made sure it was mixed in with the gravy well)
4. Waited 20 minutes for the gravy to thicken and served over mashed potatoes

Slow Cooker Creamy Pork Chops with Gravy

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 packet of dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet pork gravy mix
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mashed potatoes (for serving)

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the dry onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and pork gravy mix until well combined.
  2. Season both sides of each pork chop with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned pork chops in the slow cooker, making sure they are arranged evenly.
  4. Pour the prepared gravy mixture over the pork chops, ensuring that each chop is well covered.
  5. Cook on high for 4 hours or until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  7. After 4 hours of cooking, pour the cornstarch slurry into the slow cooker, stirring well to combine with the gravy.
  8. Continue cooking on high for an additional 20 minutes, allowing the gravy to thicken.
  9. Once the gravy has thickened, serve the creamy pork chops over a bed of mashed potatoes.
  10. Garnish with additional pepper or fresh herbs if desired.
